Weather Stripping Brush for Anti-dust, Waterproof Sliding Window/Door Gap Sealing Strip (Grey)

I had just bought a new home and my sliding glass patio door would slide open on its in if they were unlocked as well as allow air to enter. After examination I realized that the seal/weather stripping was worn and in some places missing altogether. I found this product on Amazon and ordered it and it works great. Patio door no longer slides open on its own and there is no longer a breeze coming through as well. I do recommend cleaning the area very well before installing to ensure the adhesive backing tape sticks as well as measure the length that you will need in order to make the installation easier because the product comes in a roll (depending upon the length that you ordered) and if you don’t pre cut it for the area needed, it can be a little cumbersome to cut it after the fact but not impossible. It just felt like measuring and cutting it to length prior to installation was easier for me.

This product works very well for replacing worn-out door and widow insulation but is not for the type of insulation that slides into a track on windows & doors. that type is available but be sure that the measurements are accurate.

Is working so much better than the cardboard I temporarily put in the cracks lol.

The weather stripping brush works much better than rubber or other stiffer materials. Definitely keeps out the cold air drafts. Follow directions and it works great. A little hard to install on curved surfaces so make sure squeaky clean.

Added this to the head, sill and jamb sides of a drafty sliding patio door and the difference was immediate. I’m sure we quickly recouped the low cost of the product in energy savings. The product is easy to cut to length and install quickly.
